Antiseptic, sebum regulator, anti-fungal.

Tea tree oil is a colourless oil with a typical strong odour and antiseptic properties. It is widely used in natural medicine for its abilities to relieve problems such as minor burns, acne, warts, throat irritations, halitosis, gingivitis and mouth ulcers.

Tea tree oil is also used in cosmetics for its fragrance and its ability to regulate the sebum glands in the scalp. It improves daily intimate hygiene and relieves any itching. It acts as a bactericide, deodorant, expectorant, and an anti-fungal, balsamic and healing agent.

The essential oils are 100% pure that we can mix with the rest of ORGANIC CARE products to create our beauty rituals, since they have great virtues for hair care, as well as cosmethic and therapeutic. In the latter two cases it is recommended to mix them with a moisturizer, facial or body, or any conductive substance except tea tree oil, which can be applied directly to the skin.
The recommended quantities would be:
If we mix the essential oil with washing products: 2-6 drops.
If we mix the essential oil with finishing products: 2-4 drops, as it does not lighten.
Essential oils are photosensitizing at the skin level, so it is recommended to avoid sun exposure or UVA rays for 24 hours after application.

Uses:

• Wounds: As an antiseptic and healing agent in pure or diluted form, applied directly to the wound.
• Minor burns: After washing with plenty of water, apply a few drops of oil.
• Acne: For daily hygiene for skin suffering from acne, soak cotton wool in water and add a drop of essential oil.

- Can be applied directly to spots 2 to 3 times a day.
- Add 10 drops to hot water to steam the face once a week.
- Add 1 or 2 drops to a face mask.

• Warts: Apply undiluted at night and cover with gauze or dressing. Repeat every night until the wart disappears.
• Hair: Regulates the activity of the sebum glands in the scalp. Its anti-fungal properties fight dandruff and relieve itching and irritation. Also prevents head lice (pediculosis). Apply diluted oil to the scalp, concentrating on the back of the head and behind the ears, and leave for 15 minutes. Wash as normal with shampoo.
• Intimate hygiene: For cystitis or gynaecological infections add 10 drops to a water bath. Use in combination with pharmacological treatment prescribed by a doctor. Soothes anal or genital itching.
• Throat irritations: Add 2 to 4 drops to a glass of water and gargle.
• Gingivitis or gum inflammation: Add 2 to 4 drops to a glass of water and use as  a mouth wash.
• Bacterial plaque: Add 1 drop to your toothbrush before applying toothpaste.
• Mouth ulcers: Apply undiluted to the wound with a cotton bud and rinse with water.
• Halitosis: Add 2 to 4 drops to a glass of water and rinse the mouth after brushing.
• Coughs and colds: Add a few drops to hot water and inhale the steam.
• Arthritis, rheumatism and gout: Used as a topical anti-inflammatory.

Precautions:
Essential oil is photosensitive and should be kept out of direct sunlight and UVA rays for 24 hours after application.
Avoid contact with the eyes. If eye irritation occurs, rinse with plenty of water.

Do not swallow. If the oil is swallowed accidently it may cause vomiting, diarrhoea, drowsiness or confusion. For topical use. If the oil irritates the skin, use in a very diluted form or not at all. Not recommended if pregnant. For children always use in diluted form.

Storage:
Keep in a cool dry place away from the light. Always keep in the original bottle.
